MoneyGram
I worked on the redesign of the MoneyGram app, which was originally launched in 2016 to meet the needs of the digital market. Since then, the app has seen minimal updates in terms of UX design and functionality, resulting in an outdated design compared to its competitors. In this showcase, I’ll walk you through the UX process I followed to refresh and improve the MoneyGram app.

Goal for Redesign
Add app navigation system that enhances the money transfer flow and is expandable for scale and make MG app for convenient, fast, transparent, an trustworthy ways to send, manage, and grow user's money
Solutions

Communicate to the customer by providing push notifications for the status of their activity

Provide transparency in the breakdown of fees and total cost

Introduce more learning materials about features and benefits of the app

Create a clean modern design that scream consistency and organize information for the user to clearly understand actions

Personas/Journey Maps/User flows
Our research was was performed by our MoneyGram product designers, UXR Leads and 3rd party agencies. Low-fi designs for quick proof of concepts and to validate the ideas with customers. Throughout 2022-2023 we tested and surveyed well over +500 customers and non-customers.
