The Business Admin widget serves as the foundation for all other business widgets (Business ACH / Business Wires / Business Reports). Business users can manage Authorization, Users and Payees under the Business Admin. We redesigned this main widget for business banking. Here I'm showing redesign work for Users.

Goal for Redesign

Make app to be simple for micro business user but have capability for medium business

Pain Points
from User Research

Set up of Roles

Permission was not presented in a logical sequence
Daily, weekly, monthly transaction limits not applicable to micro-business
Language hard to understand
Assign account and set up permissions process was confusing

Manage Users

Create users in one tab and then edit the roles in another tab
User create a role per each user

Solutions

Removed ROLES tab and Permission, limits and account access setup are included user creation process and user detail page
Restructured permissions group and combine payment permissions and limits
Added function that import from other user's permissions/limit and account access so that the creation process gets faster
Added and improved search and filter for user list
Make daily limit as default and daily/weekly/monthly for the advanced users
Added bulk edit for account access
Added dual authorization
